    On the first Monday of September every year its Labor Day. On September 5 1882, was the first Labor Day. The first Labor Day was celebrated on a Tuesday not a Monday. there is alot of superstitions on who might be the founder of Labor day. Peter .J McGuire had found this holiday. Mathew McGuire had proposed Labor Day in 1882. the city were Labor Day was first celebrated was in New York City on a Tuesday of the year 1882.Labor Day was proposed on September 1884 on the first Monday of September.

       The way I feel about these videos is that it is sad how they treat the girls. I think it is wrong that they judge the girls or they don't like girls because they will cost them  more money and they want boys because they will bring in money. I wish that they would want the girls and Love them just like they love the boys and treat the boys. Also India needs to stop doing the crime by taking legal ultrasounds to see if its a girl or a boy and if its a girl the mom might get an abortion or give the baby away just because its a girl. The woman said that the mother in law threw the four month old baby down the steps and the husbands baby treated her with no respect because she was having two twin girls and was going to keep them.It is also very sexists that how the men are treating woman. But what the men and boys are not thinking through because there is not enough woman for them to marry. The good thing about the girls who are not wanted there is an orphanage that is lead by a woman that takes in little or big girls who are not wanted anymore by there families. There is a woman that is nineteen years old that has been in the orphanage ever since she was born. She wants to go to collage to become a teacher. she sees the orphanage mother as her mother, father, and everything else. its so sad that this was happening in India and I would do anything to help them understand that every country, state, town, city, and Continent needs girls and woman for alot of specific reasons.It is very upsetting that the men are treating girls like they do not belong here. Everyone needs woman to help out aroudn the world. That is my opinion on gendercide in India.

Summer

We only have three and a half days left of school! And that means summer break is coming. Some things I do over summer break are play baseball, work on my uncles farm, and ride my bike. This has been a long school year and I am looking forward to summer break. Me and my family might go on a vacation this year, but we are still deciding. I hope it's somewere nice!

Physicall Education

I think that P.E. should be mandatory to all students because in schools we don't get to move around a lot. And even though we have to do the physical fitness test gym is still one of my favorite classses.

Teacher Appriciation Week

It's Teacher Apriciation Week! I appriciate all of my teacher past and present, and all of the work they have done or are doing. Some of my most favorite teachers from the past are Mrs. Long, Mrs. Ainley, Mr. Woolard, and Mrs. Glaus. Some of my favorite teachers in 7th grade are Mrs Bruns, Mrs Pfundt, Coach Weeler, and Mr. Kinder.
