My Plans For Tonight

Tonight is opening night for my favorite sports team ever, The Saint Louis Blues. I am very excited especially because I get to go and because it's been what seems like forever since last hockey season. Going to hockey games is probably one of my favorite things to do because it's so loud in there and everyone is so happy that I can barely even think. And since The Scottrade Center is a metal building, it doesn't get much service so people can't text me or call me to bother me. I love when the Blues score a goal because it gets so loud and all the fans stand up and scream.

The Book

One day, when walking home from school, I found this book laying on the street. I picked it up and it looked very very weird but I still took it home anyway. When I got home I took it to my room and looked at it. Then, I realized the book had an eye. But only one. It looked at me and gave me chills. It also spoke to me and told me inside was a whole bunch of spells, more than I could even imagine and that there were spells for almost everything. I was very creeped out so I gave the book to my 11 year old sister. She thought it was so cool. It probably wasn't the best idea but I did it anyway. My sister spent a lot of time in her room with the book that night. The next day we went to school like normal and everything was fine. But when we got home there was this weird bus outside our house. I was worried so I went to take a look inside. When I looked inside, there were hundreds of bananas. I watched my sister as she looked inside and when she saw all the bananas she was so happy. She said "The spell came true!! All my bananas came!!"

Next Week

Next week is going to be the best week ever! Monday is my 14th birthday. Even though I'm kind of upset it's on my least favorite day of the week, I'm still excited for it. I already know what I'm getting for my birthday from my parents because I already got one of the presents yesterday. It is an iPhone 5s. I wanted one really bad because my 4s shattered a month ago. My other present from my parents is Blues hockey tickets to the first game 3 days after my birthday. I'm so excited for hockey season to start and I can't believe I get to go to the first game again this year. These are some of the big reasons fall is my favorite season.

The Rest Of This Week

The rest of this week is going to be really really fun. Tonight, after school I'm going to the 8th grade football game. After the football game I'm going to the YMCA with my dad and sister to help coach my sister's volleyball practice. Tomorrow is homecoming. We all get to get out of school and go to the homecoming parade. After school, I'm going home with my friend Kaite and we are going to put black and yellow hand prints on our legs and get ready for the homecoming game. Then, I'm going to the homecoming game with all my friends. On Saturday, my friend Abbey is having a birthday party. All my friends are going and we are going to watch a whole bunch of scary movies. It's going to be a blast.

What I'll Never Forget

I don't think i'll ever forget who my best friends are. They are always here for me just like I am for them.  When I'm not feeling so good about myself, they always know how to cheer me up and help me be proud of who I am. I'm not one of those people who consider everyone as a best friend because best friends to me are people who never let you down and never judge you for who you are. Adults don't always forget who their best friends were in middle school, but most people do. I think they forget because those people aren't there for them now because people change. I really do hope I stay friends with the people I am friends with now.

This Past Weekend

This past weekend was really fun. It started kinda early for me because my friends and I went to the volleyball game to support our other friend Kaite. Afterwards, we went back to my friend Alyssa's and stayed the night. Her dad also got us Taco Bell, which is my favorite. Then after school on Friday we walked to my other friend Katie's house. It was really fun even though it was cold. Then, we went to the football game on Friday night which was also really cold but fun. Saturday was kinda boring except for going out to dinner with my family. On Sunday, we got up at 6 to go to the color run in Saint Louis. I was freezing at first but then once the sun came out and I started running, I got really hot. Then after the color run, we went to Starbucks and I got my first Pumpkin Spice Latte! Fall is off to a really good start!

My Weird Vacation

Over the summer, I went on vacation with my family. I was so excited when I saw how beautiful the place was, even though it took 8 hours to get there. The first couple of days were so exciting and relaxing. Our private beach was amazing. It was so peaceful to just lay in the sand and listen to the waves crashing. One day, my family decided to stay at the pool instead. Which I hated because we have pools back home and we had a beautiful beach that we could be at but we stuck around the boring and normal pool. After was ate dinner, I begged my mom to let me go to the beach. At first she said no because she didn't want me going alone but I finally convinced her to let me go. But when I got to the beach there was weird writing on the sand. And then I heard a very strange noise..

9/11

9/11 was a terrorist attack that killed a lot of people and destroyed the twin towers on September 11, 2001. I think it was absolutely terrible. So many innocent people were killed and hurt. Even though it happened a long time ago, I still feel terrible for the families and friends that lost someone during that time. It must have been so hard for the families to get through it and I'm sure there are still families grieving. Some people don't think 9/11 is an important day anymore and just ignore it but they don't think about everyone that is still upset about it.

My Plans This Weekend

My weekend is going to be really fun! Friday I have to come to school, which kinda stinks, but afterwards I'm going to my friend Chloe's party. A lot of my other friends are going too. Saturday is my dad's birthday so we are going to spend our day at Twin City Days and then we're going out to eat afterwards. On Sunday, we're going to church and then going home to watch football. I'm not very excited about the whole football thing because I think it's boring. So many people think I'm crazy for thinking hockey is better than football. Maybe if I understood football more I would like it better. Anyways, I think this weekend is going to be pretty fun.

If I Raise Children

If I raise children I will make sure they are respectful to everyone around them. If they aren't, they will be punished for it. If I have more than one kid I will make sure each one of them gets the same amount of attention. I will never constantly leave my children to go do my own things. They are my children not the babysitters. When my child becomes a teenager I will be more of an understanding parent. Even though, I will still have rules for them. I will always make sure my kids are happy.

Fall

I'm so excited for fall! It is my second favorite season. The only thing I don't like about fall is going back to school. I can't wait for school football games and for hockey to start. It will be so fun to finally get to go to a Blues game after not being to one since January. I also can't wait for pumpkin spice lattes from Starbucks. I usually hate wearing jeans and hoodies but this year I'm excited to put away my summer clothes. I'm also very excited for bonfires with my family and friends. Halloween is another thing I like about fall. My friend and I already have our costumes planned out.

snakes

picture from here
Yesterday, I was outside looking for worms to fish with, so I was digging in a mulch pile in the woods and I found a shingle that fell off of our house. I lifted up the shingle and saw a baby snake. We find baby ring-necked snakes almost everyday at our house, so I picked it up thinking that it was just a baby ring-necked snake. When I picked it up, I realized that it didn't have a ring around it's neck. It was all black with a pink stomach. We had never found one before, so I tried looking it up on my phone and found out that it was a pink-bellied mud snake.

what really bugs me

PICTURE FROM HERE
What really bugs me is homework. there are some teachers that don't give any homework, then there are teachers who give homework. I have never had a teacher that gives homework on the first day of school until seventh grade. Most of the time students expect to go back to school and not do anything on the first day, but when a teacher gives homework on the first day of school, you know that there is a lot more to come. I hate homework  especially when you don't get any time in class to work on it. I think that if the teacher gives homework, we should at least get a few minutes to work on it.

six flags

PICTURE FROM HERE
My favorite ride at six flags is Mr. Freeze. I love all roller coasters, especially the ones that go upside down. Mr. Freeze used to start out forward and end backwards, but now they turned it around. Now it starts backwards and end forward. I also really like the Batman. Unlike many roller coasters, the car hangs from the track instead of riding on it. Also unlike many roller coasters, there are five people in each car and your feet hang off of the car.

sports

I love all sports, especially soccer and basketball. I have played soccer since I was in kindergarten. I played for Desoto until fourth grade, then I started playing CYC through our lady school. I also started playing basketball at a young age. The first time I ever played basketball, it wasn't for a real team. It was just to teach us how to handle the ball such as dribbling the ball and running down the court at the same time. After we learned how to keep control over the ball, we learned how to shoot the ball. I love basketball and soccer.

kid nation 5

group- There are four groups in kid nation yellow, green, blue, and red. Every week they all run an obstacle to figure out what group is upper class, merchants, cooks, and laborers. Upper class gets $1.00, merchants get $0.50, cooks get $0.25, and laborers get $0.10. Every kid has to do the best that they can to make the town a better place.

conflict- The council read more in the journal and it said something about having a reelection for the leader. There was some conflict between Anjay and Olivia because Anjay was a leader but Olivia doesn't like him to be leader. She ran against him in the election. Olivia is going around the district and telling everyone that they need to vote for her.

secondary group-Kid nation is a secondary group because they share a goal to clean up bonanza city. They all have to do their jobs in order to clean up the town. If they don't do their jobs then they wont be able to get the town cleaned up in 40 days. Every week they have an obstacle to go through to see who will be the upper class, merchants, cooks, and laborers.

kid nation 7

deviance- Divad started a snack shop and some people got mad because she was taking food from the kitchen that anyone can get for free and she is selling it for $0.05. Jared decided that he thought it was unfair that Divad could sell food. He decided that he was going to sell food because Divad had no competition. Some of the kids started yelling at him and he got mad. He tipped over Divad's tables with all of her food.

deviant- Taylor is a deviant because she doesn't follow the rules that the council makes. For example, when the council decided to take the trash away from the town, Taylor was one of the people who was supposed to go and she refused because she said she had other things to do. When the town got back, Taylor was sitting around doing nothing. The council gave her a punishment and she refused to do it as well.

stigma- Taylor is lazy and doesn't want to do anything. She is afraid to get dirty. Everyone is sick of her sitting around, sleeping in, yelling at people, and doing nothing while everyone else is working really hard. All of the kids call her lazy, rude, and other names.
