The Cardinals

The cardinals are doing great besides the fact that they lost  last night to the Brewers 4 to 2.We are tied with the Brewers 2 to 2 in the NLCS. If we win this we go to the World Series.Right now we wre guranted to play 6 games 1 more at stl antoer 1 at the Brewers stadium.I think that we could go all the way. GO CARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What I Learned!

I learned alot this quater.I have in proved my typing.Ican type at 28 to 30 wpm i used to only be able to type at 14 wpm so i inproved alot this quarter.I don't really have anything to comlain about beacause in this class as long as you pay attention then you should finsh all of your work on time.I liked this class very much!

Mandatory P.E

I think P.E should be mandatory for students.If it wasn't mandatory then alot of kids would not get exersise. So if it is mandatory than kids would grt more exersise at school.It would also make america have less obest kids.Besides P.E is fun you get to play games at school who dosen't want to do that.Imean you sit in a class all day listening to teachers and then you get to play games in P.E after you been in a class all day.

Cardinals

The Cardinals beat the Astros last night 8 to 0 they killed.Capenter alowed just 2 people on base and no home runs.So then are fate in going to the playoffs was in the Phllies hands.They had to beat the Braves so we could get the wild card and they did.The Phllies beat the braves in the 13th inning with a final score 4 to 3.So now the cards are headed to the playoffs.

If i had 100 dollers I would give it away to a orginiation that was trying to cure it. I would do this becaus many people die from cancer every year.I would like them to use it for finding a cure that was affortable for people who cant afford it. Cancer is one of the leading causes of death in the United States.

Baseball has been in the United States since the 1800s. It has alot of americas history. America has loved baseball more than any sport.The world seriers is baseball championship game.The top two teams play the best of 7 games. If they win they are champs.

I was about four years old and i fliped my bike and busted my lip.My mom wasn't home so my neghibors helped put medice on my lip and wated outside with me till my mom got home.It made me very happy that my nehibors did that even though they didn't have too.I think the world be a much better place if every one would just help out.

The assembly was very sad yesterday.It was about a school shooting at calibine high school.these two students at the school were bulled so they decided to go on a shooting spree.In the end they killed 12 kids 1 teacher and injured 26.But thet was not what the the assembily was about. it was about the challenge of being kind.

9/11

I dont really remebry alot about this attack.It was a terible day.Men hijacked two planes and flew them into the twin towers. Two other planes were hyjacked and one flew into the pentogon the other crashed into a field.Alot of people died in the twin towers attack and in the pentogon attack.

I was pretty indifferent about technology. I liked that we could listen to our ipods but I wish that we could have done that more often. I also didn't really like the typing web because it was really long and tedious but I understand that you have to do it. Technology was pretty fun but I know there were distinct high and low points. I think you should try to have fewer typing activities. It felt like typing activities were practically all we did, save a handful of projects, and I resent typing. I hope you find my suggestions useful.

Gulf Shores

This summer we are going to Gulf Shores. Last year there was oil pretty much all over the beach, and, on the day we left, the beach was black. I played my DS every night and during the day when it was raining. This year though, the oil will be gone but the beach will be way more crowded because of it. I am also getting a new game to play on the ride there. My mom ordered it on Amazon.com yesterday.Last year my brother caught a flounder. He always manages to catch the weirdest things. One time, he caught a snapping turtle and another time he caught a rock. My mom really wanted to catch a flounder just to see what it looked like. We buried each other at the beach too. My sister was the only one we didn't bury. It was really itchy in the sand.

I think working hard should be more important that being smart in order to attain success. This is because If you keep trying you will eventually reach your goal. You do require some degree of intelligence to get things done though. A time when working hard paid off for me was in my drawings. I would never as good as I am today if I hadn't practiced. Granted I read out of drawing books, which you need a basic reading ability to do.

I love playing video games. I like RPGs the best. Some of my favorite game characters are in RPGs. My favorite non-RPG games are in the Smash Bros. series. In each of these ganes there is a compilation of favorite Nintendo characters at the time. My favorite character is Roy. He is off of a Japanese series called Fire Emblem and I can't understand any of the little dialogues that he says. My other favorite series that are RPGs are The Legend of Zelda and the Super Mario series. Oh, and RPG stands for Role Playing Game. Those are when you adventure around on quests, fight monsters and collect items.

I have sent a text message saying mean things about people to someone else. I felt a little guilty of what I had called those people later but they were being very invasive and it made me really angry. They also stared at me like I had a problem. I, of course, don't. What they don't know won't hurt 'em I guess. One time, my sister accidentally sent a few misprinted letters to a friend and the friend interpreted it wrong. I guess that just goes to show how different people have different views on different things.

Hey! I'm singing Rainbow Veins in the talent show. It was written by Owl City. I like to listen to Owl City, The Beatles and many Christian artists. In first hour Mrs. Sears brought up the song Freak the Freak Out by Victoria Justice. I practically memorize her songs because I watch way too much TV. I also like listening to the radio. My favorite station is 99.1 Joy FM. I liked their old jingle better but on the new station we have a much better reception.

I watch the news to find out the current weather. I couldn't imagine using a newspaper to see the weather. I don't even think they still put weather in newspapers. If we didn't have realtime weather monitors, I think the recent tornadoes would have caused alot more destruction. Accurate weather is important because,without it, we wouldn't know what to expect or how to prepare.

Booker T. Washington said, "If  you want to lift yourself up, lift up someone else." I think he meant that if you feel down, you should help someone else and that should make you feel better. I think it works this way because if you help someone, they become happy and the happiness spreads to you. Also, you will have done a good turn, and it builds character. I will apply this in the future by helping when people need help. It will make me and the other person feel better according to Booker T. Washington's quote. As my friend said, "Laughing, or happiness, is life's greatest joy."

Hello. My name is Danielle. I have two cats named Jack and Reks. Jack is actually my sister's cat. I also have a Miniature Dachshund. His name is Zatarain, and he usually chases Reks. Zatarain is also a Hurricane Katrina rescue. Since I'm not very good at sports, and I don't want to accentuate it, I won't talk about that. I'm pretty talented musically. I'm also halfway decent artistically. My mom said that it's not very common to be artistically and musically inclined, so I kinda feel special that way. I think that I want to sing in the talent show. I'm going to sing Rainbow Veins by Owl City. My favorite number is four. I also have that sick sense of humor that makes comics like "The Far Side" appealing. My favorite one features a deer with a target on his chest and his friend says, "Bummer of a birthmark, Hal." That is some information about me. I hope it suffices.
